shoes part 2

another etsy pair - one that i have actually worn a bunch. love them - they were just what i was looking (frantically searching, whatever) for!

surprise

i made a surprise ball as part of a christmas gift. it is been delivered, so now i can share a bit of it. i collected a bunch of little things - including some tiny toys from 5below, penny candy from a chocolate shop, tiny birds and a woven button from the thrift store, some crystals from etsy, a friendship bracelet from a kid's craft show and some acorns that i decorated. i got the idea from sandra juto's blog and used heidi's instructions...it was pretty easy and fun to do on a snowy saturday night watching elf...oh man, i already miss christmas time.

where does it all go

my current living situation doesn't leave room for many treasures...it's mostly just mikey, me and some clothes. so where am i putting it all? shoved into this bookshelf. that's right - i'm not even using any of this stuff. you can nominate me for hoarders here.

blog-worthy

i love my aunt and uncle's house. every wall, corner, beam has something interesting going on. super blog-worthy yet i never really take any pictures there!

got it

i've favorited a few sets of these on etsy but never actually bought any. like i do with many vintage items that i see online, i told myself that i might one day find these in the wild...and i actually did! that never ever happens! i often snooze on great stuff on etsy with that same logic and it just isn't true - a lot of these things are one of a kind. but this time - it was true. now, what the heck i'm going to do with 30 hex sign coasters?

wishful thinking

i found just the most perfect vintage bean boots that i've been searching for...only 2 sizes too small. rats! i bought them anyway and hope that i can find a friend who can wear them and love them. if not, they are off to the shop. just look at them - perfect, right?

cheer up

man oh man i love the print on this vintage tablecloth that i just picked up.

yes, yes i did

.

not only buy and wrap gifts for my pet but also selected dogs-wearing-skis wrapping paper. actually the paper came first - once i saw it at target, i knew i had to get mikey some gifts to use it. and look at him - even he can tell that the whole thing is totally wrong. but dogs-wearing-skis...i mean...come on!

the little fluff also got some gifts. here he is enjoying a bone and hoping i leave him alone.
